No Trespassing

Bean and I took a drive to find a desolate cornfield in which to shoot some Johnny Appleseed photos. It worked out better than I could ever have hoped for - we found an abandoned farmhouse and barn. Cold and incredibly windy, with sticky mud. Cars and trucks flying by on the nearby road. Drivers glancing over seeing two people and a scarecrow standing in a field. Got so many great shots and a lot of video. Going to redo his page on my site with a new movie and a bunch of the new photos.

He looked so natural out there. Like he was always there, and belonged there. Felt bad bringing him home.

Here's one of the amazing polaroids Bean took.

Can't wait to see the new stuff, that's still one of my favorite props.

Nice shot! I really appreciate the use of layering the depths.

I agree, he is my favorite of your scarecrows.
