Gorrrrrgeous. What kinda camera are you using?

That's a bad scan of a polaroid spectra.

It stinks, we're running out of instant film for the polaroid cameras. We have a fuji instax camera, but it's just not the same. And they still make film for that camera. So I've been getting used to it.

Bean takes all the polaroids.

[you're so cool to answer questions like that - thank you! some artists get weird about sharing their methods]

wait i knew that polaroid was stopping production, but i thought they came out saying they changed their minds! i gotta look this up!

i bet you could get some pretty rad photos with a holga!

Some rich guys bought the machinery and made their own instant film for Polaroid cameras. The end result, in my opinion, was a disaster. The output is unpredictable and faded and gray and sometimes violently out of focus. And it's not cheap. I'd rather save my money and buy expired Polaroid film off ebay : )

Bean has used a Holga and holgaroid in the past. So many cool photos in boxes in this house. I'll have to do a scan project at some point.

I love the concept of this one. Very cool.

Too bad about the polaroid film. I'm wondering if there's a way to replicate it in digital.

We've tried programs and photoshop techniques...it's just not even close.
