I love the look of these miniatures, Rot, and a belated congrats to you and Bean for the Primitives by Kathy feature. Any chance we'll ever see miniatures of a darker variety? I would snatch a mini-Roots or Johnny Appleseed up in a heartbeat.

p.s.: I know what you mean about the anticipatory summer, Autumnleaf. Here in Orlando, summer-time kicks off the season for us Universal Studios actors, as we wait until late July to hear what creature or character role we've been cast in for Halloween Horror Nights. Rehearsals begin in late August and go through September, and by the time October rolls around, we're very much ready for the month-long Halloween event to begin.

I'm terrible with detail at the miniature level. If Bean didn't make the pumpkin heads, I'd be in real trouble : )

That's a great idea with the addition of the little fence. Gives you the feeling that he is sitting in a field....

Oh my god. This is SO beautiful!!!

Looks really old-school and halloweeny, but with a creepy side to it - the faded fabric, blackened ground and old fence.
The base look very professional.

These seem like limited edition PumpkinRot figurines, I'd love to see them packaged up in orange and black boxes, sold in comic stores. Totally perfect, bravo!

Really like the inclusion of the base. Gives a diorama sort of feel to it. Like it's part of a larger group scene perhaps.

Awesome! (Damn, I was going to do something similar! :)
...little guy just screams for a tiny crow on his arm.
I was thinking of the Sleepy Hollow scarecrow, with arms high, lots of "fingers" and have a few little folded up bats hanging from them.
...someday.
Really cool! And it's cool you guys work together!

Really nice piece! Love the base and the fence, it creates a whole new feel to the work.

Oh Rot, are you sure you're horrible with detail at the miniature level? Really? (You are my king of Halloween and I place you on a pedestal).

Because it would be totally awesome if you made up your own mini-Halloween village and put it up on Pumpkin Hollow. I know exactly where my paychecks would go then. :D
