Gestation

Going to have the Swamp Foetus photo gallery up by the weekend.
Here's a shot of the Witch. I had to make her as a prop that could be posed on a stake for photos, but also carried and operated as a puppet for the film. Bean was exceptional at operating her movements for any shots when you see the Witch's face. I've been asked a lot if it was a mask. Happy to say 'nope, it's a puppet.' My wife's a convincing puppeteer.

I have to admit that I look at this photo and see a person in a costume.

COOL...
Only the far shots were Bean.
And any time you saw the hands moving AND the face, she was sitting or standing behind the witch...not easy to do. We had a lot of laughs during the whole process.

Cool, yeah I thought she was wearing it the whole time too, though I wasn't sure what position she needed to be in since the head/neck clearly wasn't large enough to be a mask. Nicely done!

I thought it was just a really creepy costume! You two sure had me fooled. Rest assured, Rot and Bean, your film as inspired a WHOLE new section for my haunt next year! Can't wait!

It was a puppet?? Wow,I am really surprised! It is such a cool video, Really enjoyed it a lot.

Yup.
A rod extends down to control her head movement and another so you can hold her up.

Well Done Bean! I was wondering how Ya'll pulled it off.The head movements told my brain its a puppet, but the hand movements definitely were so human-like which creeped me out. Kinda like the Muppets' Swedish chef......He freaks me out! Thank you guys for pushing the boundaries of yard haunting to new levels for all of us out here in the inter-hood. It so cool you two share your passion for Halloween with everyone thru photo-shoots, on-line store, and now film projects. I'm sure many of us are now brainstorming on how to bring our props to life in films for the 2012 season. Very inspiring!

Yep...had me fooled as well! Makes it all more impressive..as if it wasn't already. The witch must have been fun to take on location in the car with that hat!

I love this particular photo. Ha! I thought is was Mrs. Rot too. If you ever decide to sell copies, please let me know. I'd have this hanging in my home all year long.

Fooled me, too! It's awesome to hear some "behind the scenes" comments as to how you both made this film. Great job once again, to both of you.
