Purchased an Old School Witch costume from the always-awesome I wanted to capture the old prop I saw as a child one night on Halloween - a witch mask over a lamp post. Probably the singular most influential decoration/prop I've ever seen.

She'll invite you in with dark empty promises of candy.

I think that the most influential Halloween prop that I remember from being a kid, was a gnome mask that had been placed on one of those wire cones that you grow tomatoes on. It was upturned and draped with a cloth, so that it looked like an awful little thing waiting for me at the top of the stairs.
