Absolutly agree. I'm tired of this crap already.

Earlier this week we had two amazing nights of cool, windy, dry weather. I was tempted to light campfires both nights but had to think about work the next day. Just in time for the weekend, it's back to the sauna. Looks like this weekend belongs to the mosquitoes.

Agreed. 87 right now in the NORTHEAST! :P

If the weather stays like this through the whole summer, I can see another Blight in the making.

Man I miss that scarecrow....

Tomorrow's high is 109 here while today's is 106, and let's throw some humidity along with it while we're at it to truly make it miserable.

Summer is just getting started where I am. It's the new Gobi desert. I feel like I'm on house arrest. Hey, maybe I could get a job being Lindsay Lohan's probation officer. Nah...

Weather's fine here in Colorado Springs. Oh wait, I mean everything's on fire....

Be safe Steve Ring. If there were any rain in Texas I'd send it your way.

Rot said...

yeah, man, stay safe.
You in any danger from that?

Anonymous said...

Yeah dude, be safe out there. Hpoe things get under control soon.

Naw, I'm pretty far from danger. They seem to have it under control now, anyway. I should mention that the fire threatened Manitou Springs at one point. Manitou is where they have the famous annual Emma Crawford coffin races right before Halloween.

Wouldn't have much use for those campfire candles here lately. It already smells like a campfire here!

I spent the week in Vegas, it was 110 degrees during the day and everything radiated heat at night. Coming home to mid 80s has made this weekend seem balmy.
I love your summer posts. They crack me up each year.

COULD NOT AGREE MORE

100+ degrees with 60+% humidity here in the south, of course. I hate it. I just keep looking at Seattle's weather and sighing with desperate want.

Upper West Coast is kinda screwed from the Japan Fukushima radiation nightmare...so you can't win.

Most of the DMV lost power from some huge f-off storm this weekend, so even though I like the heat I spent all weekend climbing the walls. No A/C and No Internet make Sara..something something. Never been so glad to be back at work.
