Spring Jacko

We drove past an old pumpkin field yesterday and saw a bunch of dried-out gourds and pumpkins lying in the sun.  We pulled over and collected some of the fully-preserved ones.

Then I poked a face into one and hung it on a nearby tree by its vines.

Hopefully it's still hanging there.

Every time I drive past a field with left over pumpkins, I thought about stopping off and grabbing a few.

But then I think, knowing my luck I would get arrested.

Another work of art on the fly!
"A dried out gourd, zero dollars; the puzzled look on the farmer's face...priceless!"

Very cool. We had some great weather in Pa today. I was closing my eyes and pretending it was October 14th.

Best thing ever. Makes me think it's right around the corner. Why do we even HAVE spring and summer?

What would be great is if you drive by again to find the impromptu display "expanded". :-)

whoever owns the field should consider themselves quite honored...
