Garden Scarecrow

Built this guy this morning to stand in our pumpkins and gourds.  Hopefully we have some success this year.

He's about three feet tall.

The last two shots are instant photographs by Bean.

Nice! Creepy but not too over the top for Summer. I always dig Ms. Beans old camera photos too. Is this the Poloroid with the edges cropped or a different camera?

Yeah, I didn't want to go too creepy.

The first instant photo is from that "impossible project"..black and white film with the edges cropped out.
The second one is old spectra film, also cropped.

That's from her last pack of spectra. Very depressing.

Plenty of quietly dark inspiration for all those little pumpkin embryos...cool work and love those pics of Bean's!

Bummer about the Spectra, maybe some more Spectra will pop up on Craigslist or Ebay at a good price. All keep an eye out for any good deals down our way.

Appreciate it, but the problem there is that all of the film is most likely past the expiration date. So it's hit or miss if the film will even develop. Sometimes it has a creepy effect, but the price of the remaining film we've seen is probably not worth the risk of the film not developing.

And the Impossible Project is a mixed bag. The results are very iffy. Very foggy and misty images.
