The Haunted Slough 2013

I love playing Rod Serling to this Haunt.  It's always such a treat to be the guy who gets to present this beautiful display by artist Marianne Sexton.  So many incredible images here.  So much detail.

I love the organic feel to it. Looks like she has a lot of land to set up all those props. I really like the candles inset into the tombstones too!

It's always a great haunt. She is a real master of detail. There is so much to see. Looking at the cemetery, you would never know that the night before we had torrential rain and flooding and the cemetery was completely wiped out. She had one day to set it up again.

If you grabbed your eraser tool and removed foliage, stones, etc. ... the individual figures alone are worth the price of admission. Just amazingly nuanced, fully realized art. Drop them in that blanket of spookiness with the grass, sticks, stones and bones.... brilliant.
