Pumpkin Season

At Dunkin Donuts (not in our garden, where all pumpkins have died and only one animal-pecked gourd remains).
We're heading out to get the first pumpkin spice iced coffees of the season.

Totally jealous. I heard Dunkin is finally coming here soon. But the closest will be downtown LA. D'oh!

Starbucks has theirs I think. Sigh.

Downtown LA?? Gads, might as well be in Nebraska. I really don't like driving there. Didn't they have a go at it a couple of years ago and pulled out?

Yeah they did and now I think they settled and chose Downtown, Santa Monica(which may as well be the East Coast) Modesto(why??) and some other random CA spot. Boo.

Can we have a chat about an acceptable pumpkin food consuming date? I LOVE pumpkin just as much as anyone, but don't you feel its a little wrong to be eating pumpkin stuff pre-september? Kinda like when they put decorations out in July....just feels a bit weird . Like its a tad too soon. My personal ok to eat date is September 1st. That way if feels like an acceptable time

all starbucks have the pumpkin spice by now, even if they're not selling it. Request it, and 90% chance you'll get it. I would just give it out anyway if anyone asked, as most baristas will.

Also, a sekrit is a customer can sometimes unlock the sales of seasonal items for a store up to 2-3 weeks before they are supposed to go on sale if they request it and the store already has it in stock; You can probably start getting pumpkin spice mid-late august. Request to buy a pumpkin spice latte, and then make it available for all customers and be the autumn hero!
