That was a pretty cool interpretation of the film.

And I definitely agree that it is not a horror movie for every horror movie fan. It's one of those that you just have to have a taste for. I enjoyed it very much.

And I can totally see you as a Mr. Jones.

Scary Jerry shared that with me a while back and I had sent that description to people at work after they came in scratching their heads demanding an explanation.
Lots of OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH's.

That was pretty much exactly how I interpreted it. The thing that got me is that Rot is also an "anonymous recluse" of sorts whose works are admired by people all over the place. That thought was the icing on the cake that anyone not familiar with your work is missing out on.

I think I'm gonna watch this again this weekend, since I am all alone AGAIN this weekend.

I was thinking the same interpretation of the film. I got it and LOVED it. Anyone can be Mr. Jones. and the portals around the world- sequel potential.

and party at J.S.'s house:)

A little off topic, but I have to admit when I first saw the Mr. Jones character, all I could think of was Poe's "Masque of the Red Death". That was always how I pictured the Red Death, not in some beautiful bal masque costume but a grungy, grimy piece of homemade clothing a peasant might wear. Even the mask Jones wears was what I pictured. Weird, huh?
