November 1st

One of Bean's unused photos from her Day After Halloween shoot.

And here's a link to that series.  One of my most favorite things.

Lovely! I like the tootsie roll wrapper half disappearing into the leaves. It's like a nice little metaphor. Thanks for sharing!

Always feel that the day after Halloween is a dark, deep void---so very sad that we have SO LONG until the magical high holiday is upon us again! But, these are such great photos--they completely encompass that lonely feeling. Beautiful!

the day after is the day to walk around & take everything in. it's a chance to spend some alone time with Halloween, say hello & goodbye. it gets hard sometimes with all the preparation to actually BE with Halloween, so the day after is a chance to do that..<3

Rot..it's really cool how you guys all get together to celebrate Halloween & your Haunt each year, that's an Awesome tradition!! so cute to hear about your mom taking pics with her little box camera, i loved that (sinister otherwordly) shot you posted of hers. looks like Halloween Love is a family affair with you guys! : )

The forth and fifth pictures in that series are of my parents house in Glenside. I showed them to my dad and he was all proud that his floating ghost heads made it on to the internet. :)

Man, that is INCREDIBLE. Small [Halloween] world.
We were SO impressed with that house and the decorations.

Girl6 has a good point. Halloween needs a 'rightful death' and a period of mourning and reflection. Then get started thinking about next year.
