Halloween Sightings

Saw one end cap at Home Goods with a few Halloween items, but not too much out there other than Michael's (though it's still too hot for Halloween shopping).

Looks like the Halloween event that is Roger's Gardens takes place on September 2nd.

Halloweenforum.com always has a bunch of folks posting photos of their Halloween store sightings...

I was just there. I guess TJMax has their mojo on as well. Looks like the hearse is back. I guess I have a thing for horse-drawn hearses. Thinking of building my own some day (a miniature).

Um, I think this is the first time I have to disagree. It's never too hot out to do Halloween shopping. :D (please don't ban me from the Halloween community.)

I just did a 4 wheel brake job on my wife's suv. NOW it's too hot out to do that........

. We're saving up for a big project, and I put myself on a very small Halloween budget this year. I might as well leave my wallet at home when hitting the Halloween stores!!!!

I'm hoping to finally head to Roger's Gardens for this. I'm visiting family on the central coast right now and it's crisp and cool and we went apple picking and on a hayride and there were fresh pies and apple cider. Soaking this all in and storing up for the brutal Los Angeles heat reality that's about to hit me.

we saw the ghostly outline of a Spirit Halloween coming SOON to Walnut Street, every year one pops up in a different downtown location, never the same spot twice. their yearly announcement of where they will officially be that season has become a lovely confirmation that EVERYTHING GOOD is just around the corner!!! finally.

i LOVE when Halloween starts springing up on those ugly humid days of August. it's like, Fall is haunting Summer with her coming death. "your death is coming summer & YOU gonna die hard & i will dance on your grave!" HAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!. can't wait.

Autumnleaf, I have to take my kids.:( we'll be going down there hopefully the day it opens, are you considering it?

Let me know if you ever want to meet up for coffee out near your town. My brother moved there last year and we visit often!

I JUST received the coolest little Starbucks package in the mail today with k-cups and packets of....Pumpkin Spice Latte. I thought I'd scoff at how early it is for such a thing but I fully embraced it! Totally made my freaking day.

Michaels, At Home (tons), Joanne Fabrics so far. Most of mine this year is homemade or realistic dolls I've acquired so not much shopping for me.

I did take notice that our largest grocery chain, that has a license to sell six and twelve packs, had at least a half dozen pumpkin beers on display today. That, my friends...is what gets my icky black blood pumping! Picked up a six of the Travelers Shandy. Couldn't resist.

Aw so happy to see this on here! I don't think I've mentioned this yet, as I've been busy working lately, but I now work at Roger's! It's awesome, and they are in the midst of setting up for Halloween these coming weeks, can't wait to see the awesomeness unfold! Let me know if you guys head up for opening day, or any time during the season!!!
