Amazing photos! Looks like another world and/or a different decade. :) What a fun outing!
Where do you find these places....and ....is it for sale?
Damn, how do you two find these cool abandoned houses.I remember the short video you did with Johnny Appleseed at an old farmhouse.
That first pic has a plaque that says 1828. Wow.Love the title of this post.I can see this being a PBS show.
That is the scariest little bunny I have ever seen.
these shots are pretty amazing!
Very nice! One of my favorite hobbies!
Funny cause we have very few abandoned places in our area. This one has been looking pre-demolition for a while now...and it seems any place we photograph soon ends up being knocked down... we're the kiss of death for abandoned places...
Beautiful shots. I love abandon places. I like seeing nature reclaiming them. It's amazing and sad all at the same time. Do you guys know anything about this property?
what a beautiful, old place....the shutters, the windows...simply perfect...did you guys manage to get inside?
We have very few abandoned places where we live, too. I do have a sod house in mind for the Great Pumpkin Project. It's in a farming community near my old home town in Colorado. I'm hoping my farmer friends know of a few other places for photos. Love the photos that you and Bean were able to take.
Abandoned places are easier to find than many people think...if one has a mind to do so, you can find them almost everywhere. Almost.
there was an open cellar door...and it looked dark and wet down there... we didn't go in. I'm pretty spazzy when it comes to trespassing, and this place was right next to a bunch of newer homes, so I was worried someone over there was watching us and would call the cops or something.... or that there was a homeless man with a beard of bees down there about to spit battery acid on us.
Could of been a monkey down there waiting for you too.......:
These are pretty fantastic. I think Sunday's are the perfect days to trespass!
Rot, you just KNOW that the cellar had a copy of Necronomicon Ex Mortis laying around down there!Amazing shots, as always. Always fascinated by abandoned buildings
