The Eve...

We've been working like mules trying to get everything set up for the photoshoot before a quick-moving heavy storm passes through tonight bringing chilled Halloween air behind it.  Going to be in the 30's Halloween night.  Currently about 80 (totally not pleasant).
Here's hoping the rain and "damaging" winds don't come to fruition.

Here's one of Bean's wonderful shots from earlier today.

Stop by the blog tomorrow morning.  I'll do the annual Halloween morning post featuring photos from the shoot.

You guys rock, even your 80 degree picture looks greet. Winds are picking up here, about 8 miles outside of Philly. Thank God it's gonna cool down.

Thanks : )
I focused more on the organic elements this year. Lots of vines and thorny pieces of shrubs. Love the effect. Should look neat at night.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Hauntedeve came down with colds and we've had rain all day and it's currently only 46, so we've postponed pumpkin carving until tonight and are not setting up the haunt until Halloween morning. If the forecast is accurate, we're going to be cold but at least dry and not too windy. Our haunt photos will have to wait until after trick-or-treating. Of course Saturday night was a balmy 60 degrees and not a single drop of rain despite being forecast. Figures!

Thanks!
You too.
The giant storm moved through. Man, it was something.
Heavy rain...tons of rain.
Got a lot of day shots then we scrambled to put the props in the garage...
going to be a wet setup tomorrow morning.

Hauntedeve... Hope you guys feel better.
been fighting a cold all week.
I'm pretty sure I'll pass away quietly at some point early November 1st morning.

Rot, Feast of All Saints Day Nov 1st--not a bad day to go!;)

Have the best Halloween you two. Looking forward to your display as usual. I'm astonished to say it's wet and dark and perfectly October over in So Cal. Hoping your weather is just what you want it to be!

A good bit of my stuff was out already for yesterday's party. Woke late due to exhaustion to ridiculously heavy rain. Everything seems to have held up though. Decided to wait until tomorrow morning to finalize it all. Look forward to vines and thorny bits. I'm sure I'll have something to say in the morning after basking in it all. Enjoy! Feel better!

Good luck with set up in the morning!
We took things down for the first wind storm. Tonight was surprise 30-40 mph winds! I hope the scarecrow is still dressed in the morning.
