Willow Cove Haunt: Beware Of Vampires

As we wound on our endless way, and the sun sank lower and lower behind us, the shadows of the evening began to creep round us. This was emphasized by the fact that the snowy mountain-top still held the sunset, and seemed to glow out with a delicate cool pink. Here and there we passed Cszeks and slovaks, all in picturesque attire, but I noticed that goitre was painfully prevalent. By the roadside were many crosses, and as we swept by, my companions all crossed themselves. Here and there was a peasant man or woman kneeling before a shrine, who did not even turn round as we approached, but seemed in the self-surrender of devotion to have neither eyes nor ears for the outer world. There were many things new to me. For instance, hay-ricks in the trees, and here and there very beautiful masses of weeping birch, their white stems shining like silver through the delicate green of the leaves.

Whoa!!!!! These are great! That vampire is amazing! Very scary...and such a great job in the staging. You can tell there was a lot of effort put into this one. Great job!

Excellent. Especially that last pic, a really good shot. Really sets a haunting mood.

The Nosferatu with his bulging eyes is GREAT. I think that is the only monster that can give me the chills. Him and his eyes staring at my neck like it's lunch time.

Thanks guys! Was going for a spooky/dark creature feature show vibe this year. The distorted pics are just taken thru a glass jar lid. Thanks for the intro Rot!

This just makes me want to run down and start making blood suckers. Agree with JS, I think Shreck as Count Orlok is still one of the creepiest, most chill inducing images ever put on film. Great looking haunt yet again, WC!

sooooooo well put together & Beautiful too!!! it's Perfect. the pics look like movie stills from an old movie, totally like a layout you would see in Monsters of Filmland or Fangoria. the "skelly brides" are sucha Wonderful addition for the Count & to this year's haunt. i LOVE Classic (old school) Monsters & it's always sucha treat to seem brought to life in Haunts. THIS IS right up there with the Original Nosferatu..<333!!...True Classic. : )

LOVE this one! As a fan of the old school vampire-as-a-fiendish-monster concept, this completely tickles my fancy!
