Haha.
I keep telling my wife I'm going to stare at it so I can go partially blind in one eye so I can collect disability and not worry about getting another job.

Before I clicked on the blog, I happen to randomly be thinking to myself "I wonder how many dumb assed people are going to do a "Stare at the Eclipse Challenge", and end up going blind. BFC couldn't not have been timed more appropriately.

thanks for saving everyone's eyes!!!!

i also heard you can have your back facing the sun & view it on your phone via selfie style. or...while having your back to the sun, hold a cracker (one with holes) up & catch the projection unto a notepad. i'm likin the cracker idea cause it will still sorta be lunchtime. i'll bring some tuna too just in case.

We watched. My kids loved it but I'm SO freaking glad I "#failedasamom" and didn't do the eclipse party, eclipse snacks, etc. Minimalism felt SO good.

I'm not sure you could call it watching but I was out in the veggie garden harvesting summer squash with a friend. The light was magical! It really makes me want to cover the whole yard with 40 or 50% shade cloth. Would be SO much better on the plants.

Autumnleaf--we were totally in Monrovia during the eclipse! We are there every Monday now. It got kinda chilly, as we stood in the moon's shadow. It was cool. :)

Autumnleaf I'd be 100% down for that!! Do you have an email you'd be willing to give? You can email Rot and he could pass it on!
