I want to sit in that rocking chair.

Your porch looks SO peaceful.

Looks great - you are lucky to have those pillars around which to fasten corn stalks. We get such insane high winds that I am afraid cornstalks would not fare well.

I like how you and Bean, surround the porch posts with cornstalks. It is a kinder, more artistic way to add cornstalks to your life, so that it reads great at every angle. I am ashamed to admit I only add them to the front of the posts/columns at my house. I am a fraud. :( I just love the smell of them (the cornstalks)....heady.... October romantical....it is my happy scent. (next of course, to anise and cloves) ;-)

Love that porch. We are planning on moving further north and downsizing in the next couple years and a porch is definitely on our wish list, a wrap around if possible. Affords so many possibilities and can be such a great relation and gathering spot.

As organic as ever. Love the contrast with the brick house.
