Just Too Cool. Anyone have suggestions on how best to light the pumpkin? Do you drop a t-light in every night or a timed candle or....?

this is a touchy subject as i'd imagine there's a possibility to cause a fire in some freak accident of some kind... BUT...i was fairly sure my pumpkin would stay put, so i bought a very cheap LARGE low jar candle and stuck it in there...it was lit for DAYS....

though i recently found these super bright tea lights...two of them would last for over a week...and they seem REAL from a distance....unlike the little orange ones, these are white like a real candle...

Love this Project. I was thinking it had died after 2 years. Glad to hear its still chugging along!

Thanks Rot! I think the tea lights (the battery operated ones) would work well. Sometimes the breeze manages to blow out the real ones no matter how 'protected' you think you made it.
