I bet their kids cared that their parents were giving away their candy.

I did have a friend named Loria whose family is the reason I am obsessed with Halloween today. But anyway, she would still have Halloween candy at Easter. Her Mom would toss it out to make room for the candy from her Easter basket. So I guess there are some kids out there who aren't candy connoisseurs like the rest of us.

"I use to pinch candy off of you Loria when you left the room, and I'm not sorry".The Captainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15383835824583541530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-784285653010648547.post-91644456025012067432009-08-12T18:04:20.825-04:002009-08-12T18:04:20.825-04:00Yeah, and these are older kids like seven or eight...Yeah, and these are older kids like seven or eight years old. They are old enough to know the value of candy.

An example: One guy brought in two gallon-sized ziplock bags STUFFED with candy. When they were gone, he brought in two more.

A lady in the office filled two giant bowls with her child's loot.

I always make sure I get the best stuff out of there before the rest of the office finds out.Rothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11329750481399948095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-784285653010648547.post-89503638123905616342009-08-12T17:40:22.726-04:002009-08-12T17:40:22.726-04:00I always knew when my father stole candy from my H...I always knew when my father stole candy from my Halloween stash. Like many children, when I got home from collecting my haul, I poured it all out, sorted it, and made a mental inventory. How many chocolate bars do I have? How many bags of chips? I would plot out how I would stretch out the favourites over time.

I knew when he took stuff. And I'd have a conniption. Eventually, my mom would let me hide my favourite candies in various spots around the house.Ghoul Fridayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09783865823490404290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-784285653010648547.post-57381463816809503782009-08-12T17:36:38.862-04:002009-08-12T17:36:38.862-04:00LOL!
