The function of life is survival.</i><br /><br />I always figured some ghostly-germ-things floated and ended up here permanently.<br />As some floated past the earth looking for another suitable place...or maybe blown past. But can't say I ever pondered it fully. And I should have.<br />Now I'm feeling sorry for the things. Kind of stuck here. Did the...That movie kind of made me wonder, though. Did the pod organism absorb all life on a planet, eventually, or just the intelligent life? It invaded the other plant-life but it didn't seem to change itself into them. And then there was the dogman. And what was it doing on that dead-looking planet? Or was that an asteroid?
