Same here Jay's Shadow. The other day I was trying to explain to my wife why some zombies films have fast zombies and some have slow zombies. She's a horror genre newbie. She started watching The Walking Dead with me this season. I'm watching Splinter today on Syfy, a great spin on the zombie monster.
I'm always catching myself wondering when and how long do ya wait till the zombie muscles decompose and it can no longer move on its own. The zombie survival guide by Max Brooks goes into this. Swamp roaming zombies vs desert or artic zombies....

I don't know. The idea of zombies moving really fast throws me off. But of course a movie with zombies in it always draws me to watch it.

We loved Splinter. Great concept.
I'm ok with fast moving...as long as it's in the beginning of the zombie infection. I feel like they'd have to slow down as their bodies began to rot.
