Hymnambulae
A music project by siblings Pär Boström and Åsa Boström. Pär is the founder of Kammarheit, so this is pretty exciting.
Thanks, Andrew! I had no idea this existed.

Victor Frankenstein
We watched this last night and fell in love with it. I read a lot of cruel reviews, so it doesn't make much sense why it has such a bad reputation in the horror community. I think folks saw the trailer and wanted monsters and action, but they got a character-driven film instead.
To me, it felt like a modern telling of a 70's Hammer monster film. Loads of style and atmosphere with great characters and acting, with a touch of monsters. And I'm totally cool with that. Cause it worked.

Jones
They thought the dream world was real, not some meaningless neurological side effect of sleep. There was the waking world of order; cause and effect time and space and another, a very real world that you glimpsed in dreams. These talismans were created by the holy men to patrol the boarders of the two worlds as they overlapped to keep the chaos and insanity and nightmares of the dream world from entering our own.

Has anyone else started scouting out locations for The Great Pumpkin Project: 2016?
We've been looking for a good spot... nothing solid yet.

Kammarheit On Bandcamp
Primo dark ambient music from one of my personal favorites.
My highest recommendation for all three albums.
Elstree 1976
Rented this last night from Amazon and it was pretty awesome. Like watching a group therapy session... lots of ego and insecurity, and interesting and fun memories from the folks who helped make Star Wars such a neat experience.

Hazard Pay
This morning at work, a coworker stopped over looking as though he had seen a ghost. He said he had felt something on his leg and it felt like static cling or something. He pulled up his pant leg and there was a giant cockroach trying to climb up his leg. He shook it out and it ran away under his desk.
I stopped over and we hunted it. I have to admit I doubted the estimated size of the beast that he described.
Well, we found it. And I think it was bigger than his estimate.
So I emailed him the below...

Dear GOD
From Fangoria.com...
Earlier this year, John Carpenter’s surprise announcement of LOST THEMES II and a subsequent tour in support of the album shocked the horror community in the best way possible. Now, with Carpenter gearing up to hit the road later this month, FANGORIA is beyond excited to announce that the surprises don’t stop there. In fact, not only is Carpenter announcing that he has re-recorded his iconic past themes for a brand new release hitting next month, but for your listening (and viewing) pleasure, FANGORIA is excited to unveil the live, in-studio video for his full-band re-recording of the theme from ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK!
With two albums worth of original content under his belt, Carpenter has decided to team with his LOST THEMES bandmates Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies as well as Sacred Bones Records to re-release two 12-inch Vinyl albums featuring his most classic recordings. Hitting shelves on June 17th, the first EP will feature full-band re-recordings of the themes for HALLOWEEN and ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, while the second EP will feature full-band re-recordings of the themes for ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 and THE FOG.
