So I decided to track the predicted Halloween weather each day. Since I have nothing better to do except prepare my grudge against Mother Nature. Looks like we currently have some potential rain on the day before and after Halloween. Never a good sign.

And I should add that a photoshoot will occur regardless of the weather...on one of the dry days before or after Halloween.
I say we kidnap mother nature for the rest of the week, or sweet talk her, one of the two.
I'm prepared to do a photoshoot at 3 am on Wednesday if need to be.
I say we carpet bomb the stratosphere and drop nukes along every major fault line.
Just sayin.
Just saw local weather. Says high of 68 and low of 52, breezy with possible showers.
Ugh.
It's raining here right now...S.Cal.
Huh?
I've been watching the weather with trepidation the last week or so. Rain has been dancing around 10/31 in CT on and off - but mostly on. After two blowouts with Alfred and Sandy in 2011 and 2012 I've made arrangements to at the very least deal with a rainy night.
I'm only a display so it makes things a bit easier out the gate. I divided my haunt into two displays that fall under the main theme for the year. There's the front yard which consists of weather tolerant props. The setup is fairly simple compared to prior years and that's intentional. Then there's the garage interior where I've blacked out a section for a more artistic and detailed display.
The front yard is already set up and doesn't give too much away. I did a photoshoot last night. And while I couldn't get the fog to cooperate I did get a bunch of great pictures which I've already posted.
The garage is nearly done and that won't get unveiled until 10/31. It's indoors so nothing gets wet, the fog cooperates, and I can snap pictures without worry. The ToTs will have to come to the garage to get their treats.
High winds and heavy rains now in the forecast here in pgh. Probably set up Wednesday, take pics, vids and watch skies hoping for a reprieve.
@Autumnleaf, I'm in SO CA too and no rain here. I think today and tomorrow are supposed to be windy/sorta damp then Halloween a perfect 76!:)
In 24 hours Nashville weather went from 10% with "some showers" to 80% chance of rain, thunderstorms expected.
Damn you Mother Nature.
Spooky Franklin happens the first subsequent dry day regardless.
We will have candy ready each night.
Rain/Wind forecast for November 1st..and rain on the 30th.
And I believe my eye has started to twitch.
As today's beautiful sunny clear day mocks me through the window.
Rain forecast here in ATX for Wednesday night and early Halloween morning, supposedly clearing out my mid-day. Fingers crossed.
It's making me nervous too. I'm also in the mid-atlantic area, so the weather will be very similar here. I'm glad we don't have a hurricane coming through this time, but I'm not thrilled about the idea of getting rained on at all, no matter how little.
Weather has been perfect for almost two weeks suddenly on Wednesday and Thursday high 60s?
Clearly a sacrifice is needed.
