i was always so intrigued by pentagrams on walls of abandoned buildings as a kid.
I still think that it never had anything to do with Satan or Satan worshippers and everything to do with kids thinking it was cool to do.

I agree with the whole BS pentagram thing. As a kid you wanted to build up in your head that every pentagram you saw in a random shady spot was some sort of satanic ritual alter when in reality it help as much weight as a random penis drawn on a bathroom wall. Imaging you couldve seen the pimple faced Iron Maiden and denim vest wearing brat that did it. What a let down
It does come in handy when beating lie detectors.
