I don't know what his implications are, though. That not all of these disappearances can be attributed to mountain lions, bears, bandits and plain old misadventure? Then what is he proposing as an alternative? Here in Colorado you get an idea of how perilous the wilderness is. People disappear and their remains can turn up years later if at all. I see people joke about it being bigfoot. But if we can't find their remains then it shouldn't be a surprise when we can't find a human's.

I think he's suggesting something unconventional...unnatural...paranatural.
I respect that he gives updates on the cases where they actually DO end up finding remains. A lessor man would cloak/hide those results.

Read the book and does send a chills. I know the author of 411 makes suggestions to the cause of the missing but try to keep it serious as something real has happened to these people.

Agh Rot-,I get stuck on this for days when you bring it up-?only because it's so crazy, spent a lot of time in the wilderness and never ever felt like I wasn't the one in control. I do keep my kids close though- I feel bad for people who have lost their children in a way that they can't explain. I would go nuts-

I'm sure there are a fair number of completely mysterious cases, though. Most of them are probably misadventure, guy gets a wild hair and decides to climb some treacherous rocks, falls into a chasm or whatever, but who knows?

When you post these I'm all over it. Going to skip out on this one. I'm too tender-hearted at this point. I remember visiting Williams AZ a few years ago desperately wanting to take a trip to see the Grand Canyon. My son was little and the receptionist at the hotel we were staying at actually changed my mind. She told me about a handful of stories of children being swept up by a gust of wind and thrown over the side, another actually running straight off the side of the canyon. Ugh, it's horrific. I can totally believe there could be a supernatural energy that surrounds huge, open wilderness. Kind of like a gravity pulling us. Or like the tides affecting brain activity. We are more vulnerable than we know.

whenever David Paulides speaks, i definitely listen, he feels like the real deal to me. he's a good dude with a good heart. i think we just need to be open that's all. cause how can we possibly know everything & decide on what is valid & what isn't. no way, it's impossible. there are secrets out there.

p.s...Daivd Paulides you are snake plissssssken straight off the silver screen..<3

I like that Paulides presents the facts, and doesn't try to spin things. Like Rot pointed out, he follows up whenever there is an update in each case, and doesn't try to make it fit his agenda.
