CHURCH: The Video

Click below to watch our 2018 Haunt video.
Filmed and edited by Theo.  Just cannot thank him enough for the beautiful photos and video he shot this year.

Music from the works of Raison D'Etre.

Enjoy!

SO thrilled that this is up!!!

and I feel like video captures the elements that the pics never could... the overgrown misty graveyard... the smoke from the thuribles... the way the cross would light up and glow when the fog filled it.

hope you all enjoy this :)

I'm SO thankful you got the Angel Thuribles and their wonderful incense smoke...AND the cross. I remember when it first happened. When we first saw that fog glowing bright light blue through the cross. It all seemed to happen at that moment.

Thanks, man, for taking so much care in documenting the Haunt.

I quit. This is so far and above anything else out there. Both of you have taken it to another level, even by PumpkinRot standards. Absolutely stunning collaborative display, down to the last detail. SO very well done...

Wow! Somehow even better than the pictures! Awesome work as always!

AWESOME.

The ambient music was perfect for this haunt, the angels and the kings really had the feel of corpses, and the fog rolling around everything just added the final touch.

Once again, you knocked it out of the haunted park.
And kudos to Theo for helping this year.

Wow - super creepy - gave me the chills. You both did an amazing job bringing this to life (or death).

I'm probably going to regret this...but this is the best video of a Pumpkinrot haunt I've ever seen. This collaboration is off the charts perfection in my eyes. As JS stated, those corpses look legit...totally legit...and the way this is filmed, it just drives that home even more.

Brilliant concept, expertly crafted, made all the more amazing by the set design, soundtrack and wonderful moving pictures.

GREAT video!

Thanks!
I'm with you Jeff. I think this is definitely the best representation of how the Haunt looked in real life. I think this and 2015 are the only videos that capture that feeling.
Theo's filming and editing style definitely FAR surpass my own abilities. It's hard to explain just how comforting is was on the photoshoot day and on Halloween night knowing he was taking so much footage and stills. This guy was out there for HOURS in the cold. Making sure he was getting the right shots.

BRAVO!!! ENCORE ENCORE! Your cinematography skills are only outweighed by your craftsmanship of all things Halloween. Your fog was on point that night for sure. I particularly love the old lashed together barn wood board crosses. I am gonna have to copy that!

As highbury said, you and Theo took this to another level. As exquisite as the still photos are this video brings you there....and the music sets yet another new level. By any chance did you use this soundtrack as part of the haunt? I can just hear the Gregorian chant off in the distance. Wow.

Oh we absolutely used the dark ambient works of Raison D'Etre as our soundtrack.
So it totally sounded like this the entire night : )

Wow, this is really neat to see. I enjoyed the stills, but boy does this bring it all to "life" so to speak. Being able to see the different angles, the wafting smoke, the subtle changes in light. It all just makes it so much easier to appreciate all the work you two did. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing.

Yes, the open shot of the fog and pumpkin in the graveyard is amazing! The subtle blue moonlight is something i've wanted to capture. Well done, Theo! And to have such help with Bean and Theo must have been so comforting. I still feel that this haunt has a very realsitic history channel vibe to it. The lost tomb of the Magi....
