It was EXTREMELY cool!
Even the bad ones were great (sometimes, especially the bad ones).
The 50s and 60s sci-fi monster movies, but also the Ray Harryhausen effect stuff, and the rubber-suit monster movies, etc...all fantastic in their own way.
Ha! This was on Pluto Tv the other night. So fun!
Haha, awesome! It's always those atomic scientists getting us into trouble. After living in Tucson, I've gotten over my fear of spiders. Sure, you'd come across tarantulas in the yard. And they were EVERYWHERE during mating season when the monsoons start - so much so you could hear cars crunching over them =( But the best part of living with tarantulas is that they are too big to get in the house. They would have to ring the doorbell. Which I believe they could do.
