Awesome….Perfectly placed setting. I could so see this in a film where some kids stumble upon this scene while exploring with their pals, proving that all the rumors they heard about the old homestead were true….
I've been through each image several times, and really can't get over how perfectly in tune everything is.
It's almost as though they belong here...like they were sitting in these fields for ages, briefly on loan for Halloween night, and then returned home afterward.
Where do you find these locations in the first place? Secondly, how do you stage these guys without damaging any of the grounds/plants so it looks like they've been there for years? Awesome stuff.
A really great friend of mine knows this state pretty well and we took a road trip and had a great day looking for abandoned locations. The key is to never trample anything. So there’s a lot of trying to find small paths in to a shooting location.
The dilapidated shacks are the perfect backdrop for these amazing scarecrows, they're so seamlessly incorporated into the background. Loving these photos you’ve been sharing

Thanks!
I could linger for hours between these guys. It would be just lovely and probably incredibly inspiring. Only 340 days until Halloween haha
These are great.
