When I was a kid down in LA, one of our friends and neighbors had a clump of 3 sycamores in their front yard. They were beautiful then and they still are.
And the wood from sycamores is the best wood to use for scarecrows/props. Stays firm for forever. It's unreal how it stays stronger than any other branches I've used.
Thanks for the info, I'm going to try to copy your work and build a couple of scarecrows/sentinels for next year. Hopefully our son's neighborhood has a few sycamores to get material from.

That tree is beautiful, is it a sycamore?
It is! A tree in my neighborhood.
