A great scene from a great actor in a great episode of a great show. (that's pretty great)
I don't know that I could definitively select a 'best' or 'favorite' episode of the X-Files...it seems like there are too many ways to factor it, and it would probably depend entirely on the mood of the day.
However, I am pretty comfortable saying that "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" would be in the top five no matter what.
This episode has one of my favorite jokes of the series. Bruckman: "You know, there are worse ways to go, but I can't think of a more undignified one than autoerotic asphyxiation" Mulder: "Why are you telling ME that?" Bruckman: "Look, forget I mentioned it, it's none of my business"
I watched this show religiously, along with Millennium. Lance Hendrickson was perfect for that role, plus it took place here in the Pacific NW. My favorite X-Files episode is "Family", hands down.

I feel similarly. Definitely depends on a lot of factors for me too. Jose Chung is surely in my top three.

haha Such a wonderful scene.
And I absolutely love what he told Scully about her demise.
Oh, yes...if one were to create a Mount Rushmore of X-Files episodes, "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" would definitely be on it.
It's a brilliant bleeping episode.
