But, as much as I enjoy them for what they are, my favorite part may just be the implications.
It stands to reason that they would only continue doing it if it was generally popular and embraced...to me, that is a signal of the broad appeal and health of the holiday, and that's fantastic.
I do love to go there. Try not to look at the price tags. Some Halloween artists send their creations there to be sold......Rucus and Vergie Lightfoot are two of them which adds even more validity to the display. They choose a theme each year and decorate accordingly. Fun place!
I just watched a video by David F on Youtube. He walked through Roger's Gardens and photographed just about everything in there and set it to some fun Halloween music. He used the orchestral version of Danse Macabre towards the end which is reason enough to sit through the 16 minutes of eye candy. Just search under Roger's Gardens Halloween 2023 and it should come up.
Man, that's SO cool. When I was in SoCal last month I called Roger's to see if they'd put out their Halloween display yet. Unfortunately, they said it doesn't happen until September. I really NEED to go there someday!!
We were in Socal last fall, and we went, and it is definitely cool. Its clear that a lot of work goes into it, and I agree that it's a good sign that they put so much into Halloween. I also like all the local artists they seem to be supporting.

I just love that store - someday I hope to go in person. Their displays look amazing and their inventory is so cool.

That place has some very cool stuff.
If there was anything like this place near me I'd be bankrupt.
Highest marks to whomever designs these artful displays. As in the restaurant biz, presentation makes a BIG difference.
