Detailed shots, oh how I love them. You really did a great job with the witch masks. Each one has a different nose, chin and coloring. I really appreciate this work. But the last picture with the candelabra is so impressive in its shape and lighting that I can't stop staring at it. I could very, very well imagine it in Dracula's castle. Covered with a thick layer of dust and cobwebs that move slightly back and forth in a draft. Like the breath of something ancient and evil. Adorable.
Thank you, sir. I really struggled with them at first. I wanted them to look like masks, but didn't want people thinking I had missed the target and made poor "living" witches. So I had to make something that looked neat, but screamed "I'm a mask...and I'm SUPPOSED to be a mask." Turned out to be harder than I thought it'd be.
Yup... I made the candelabras. I bought pvc pipes from Lowe's, making sure the ones I would use for candles would fit the small LED tealights I had. No wiring in these...I just plopped tea lights into each tube. I used my usual paper mache method with paper towels and elmers glue to make it look aged... then added dipped cheese cloth for extra detail.

So I really appreciate the comments!
That candelabra is very cool, can I assume you put that together? What did you use for building materials?
Executed perfectly!! The weathering screams old witches!!

Thanks, Mike!
I always enjoy the 'behind the scenes' view from the basement...these were a ton of fun to pore over.
Thank you!
These were amazing!
