Cloak & TrickOrTreat

Didn't really get many photos of Cloak on Halloween night, so here's one of him with TrickOrTreat.

ooops.
most of the scarecrows were destroyed November 1st. Too big and bulky for storage. And the sticks would have dried out in a year or so and become too brittle. I kept the portions that I loved - like Pod's head or Plague's skull and hands. The Woodsman and Johnny Appleseed ended up with my brother...I kept Charred's lantern head.
Carcass was the only full body that I kept.
It was a weird thing piling up scarecrow bodies for trash day. Like a funeral pyre.

You even destroyed TrickOrTreat!? I believe that's who jay's shadow was referring to.

It's funny because when you first posted your pictures for this year I thought to myself "Where is he going to keep these, they are so big?" Did you burn them ala funeral pyre? Because that would have made for some cool photos!

ooops again. Sorry about that. i don't know why i assumed js meant the scarecrow. ugh.

TrickOrTreat is happily a part of the decor in my house. Standing in the corner of the dining room. He'll probably be up all year round. :)

It would have been GREAT to have a fire, but my old man would have disowned me. So i had to pile it up under the tree so he could move the stack to the curb on trash day. Last year I left the wooden crosses and forgot to remove the giant rusty nails attached to their bases so they could be rammed into the ground. When i visited, my dad had a huge bandage on his ankle. Poor guy. : D
