I can't agree more; It's a really cheap & easy way to enhance your haunt by accenting or back lighting certain props to draw ones eye. I have been picking up as many as I can get my hands on at thrift stores lately. I spray paint lantern with a rust colored primer or flat black and paint the glass with watered down gray/white acrylic which creates a nice frosty haze.
Yep. Going to have a bunch this year too.
loe's has some really cool lamps right now i am going to get that will work perfect
