I would hate to run into that, it kind of reminds me of an idea I had of making a costume out of cornstalks. I was thinking about lining my driveway with stacks of cornstalks and having a costume that would make me look like one of those stacks when I stood really still. I'm guessing I would stand pretty straight and fold my arms in front of me and just move slightly as people walked by, or just walk behind them after they passed me.
I've seen this done at Headless Horseman. They have a cornfield maze and there was this big guy sitting on a bunch of Hay bundles. There were cornstalks all tied to him with cornstalks surrounding him. As you walk by he just stood up. Freaky!

That is fantastic. The comic "The Goon" has a issue called The Mystery of Mr. Wicker and it totally reminds me of this!
