This makes me think of a "fruit" they carry at my local grocer's at Halloween called a Buddah's hand. It's a citrusy type thing, and i'm unsire if it's truly enjoyable if you try to eat it. I believe they are most notable as a centerpiece. Have you ever seen these?
Makes me want to watch 'The Wicker Man' (1973's version)
Oh, its like a hand of glory...very cool. And the 1973 version of 'The Wicker Man' is an excellent movie, far superior to that awful remake.
Never saw the Buddah's hand thingy.
Sounds creepy. : )
