My favorite graveyard remains The Piedmont Cemetery in Oakland California. It's huge, sprawling, old enough to have great huge monuments, and mausoleums.
It did have a section that was completely overgrown, though They've reclaimed and cleared up the land since then. I think they've renamed it "mountain view cemetery" as well. We used to go into the little wooded section and adopt old abandoned graves.

hoping my yard looks a bit like that by Halloween!
That looks creepy indeed (love the entry posts) but I'd have to stop cutting my grass in May to get it like that! However, I plan on making a few trips to the local swamp and reaping some reeds and grasses to try and approximate that look.
