Great story. I hadn't heard that one before!
I was surprised youtube had so many scary stories... pretty cool.
Just when I thought it was safe to wake up and check the blog....
This was the story that gave me nightmares! I used to play with dolls so the idea of a doll coming to life (and being evil) definitely freaked me out. Still it is a pretty good story, though.

OMG, this was the scariest story in the whole collection when I was a kid...this and the one where the head rolls out of the fireplace...
wow...i have to look that one up.
I love me a good ole scary story....
I remember the bloody head one! One of the more grotesquely illustrated of all the stories, if memory serves, and that's saying a pretty good deal. You really dug up a gem there, Rot!
by far my favorite story in the whole series--- one day I want to animate a short film to this story.

I really like the story, but I feel it would be better presented if the Narrator told it in a lower creepy tone... maybe with some ambient noises in the background.
