Got an email from the insanely talented Bill Basso letting me know about the upcoming October Shadows art show. It's going to be inside a mausoleum built in the 19th century, in Altadena, CA.
Thanks, Bill!

Ooooh, and Eric Pigors is being featured! Maybe that means he is back on track with his recovery? Anyway, thank you for posting this, Rot. I am so lame when it comes to exhibits in my own area, so this was a welcome surprise. It's so close, it'd be a shame to miss this!
Sneak your camera!
Totally will.
I've been in this mausoleum! My grandparents used to live a few doors away from it. An amazing building ..the entire outside was covered w/ivy and beautiful gardens surroundeded it. Of course it's been about 38 years since I was there.
@Sara - glad to see Eric is recovering. I've been following him on Facebook . . .
@Rot - you need to have a group of minions to cover these events! : )
Damn you, California!! You have so much cool Halloween stuff I can't visit!
I'm more interested in the coffee-table top book of OCTOBER SHADOWS that has been teased for several years now. It will feature many of the artists that contribute to the showing. I sent an email to Creature-Features a few months ago and was informed that the book would finally be available this October... Keeping fingers crossed!
