Last September, we set up a little gnome door along a walking trail in a state park (original post here). Yesterday we checked on it and it was still there...slightly obscured by some weeds and branches.
So we cleaned it up a bit.
Currently seeking gnomes.

How much is the rent. I might move in myself....
I was just thinking about that door the other day.
In the two to three times I've been there in the past year I've kept an eye out but haven't seen it yet.
Next time I walk my dogs I'm gonna find that shit!
I haven't seen it either. Good to know it's still there.
If you go to the park and cross the creek at the main part of the park, make a left...as you wind around you'll eventually pass a house with people living in it...it's along that stretch of trail...
the hidden people may be too well hidden!
Cool... Watch out for poison ivy
I think of this often. I'd love to do this in the middle of large cities, at the bottom of light posts, etc, perhaps using modern looking doors to fit in with city life. Liquid Nails should do it...
I love the idea of urban gnome homes.
If anyone does this, shoot me a photo and I'll start posting them.

Jay, Rent = 40 sunflower seeds a month (gnome money).
Crap. All I have is bird seed.
Going to add to my Garden. Add in "Go Away" on front. Not too friendly tenants. Will see about adding to Urban areas and posting pix
Not sure if this went through before...I was having a hard time trying to post comments..I apologize if it did but....I found the door!!! My Husband and I were at the park a few weekends ago and decided to see if we could find it. Went by what you said as far as directions and....there it was!! (We're there quite a bit and know the park quite well) We got some pictures...but none thank God of the happy dance that ensued! =D
ha! That's great.
Didn't see a comment like this before.
VERY cool.
Glad you found it.
