Love the simplicity but just needs someone or something sitting quietly in the dark corner with a bowl of candy..

Love sitting porches.. Every house should have one!
If we eventually buy another home, as much as I hate stairs due to a gimpy knee I would love a porch like this. So much can happen up there, ascending those steps as a child can be so many things, desire, defiance, a rite of passage. We had those homes in our neighborhood growing up where your balls were measured by how long you stayed up there, every year was different but you knew IT was coming. A childhood rush.
