I blame Unsolved Mysteries for adding a heap of horror to my childhood. It made darkness darker and noises at night terrifying. It made strangers potential murderers and far-away airplanes UFOs.
The high-production value, the creepy musical scores, and Robert Stack all sealed the deal.

I was watching old episodes of Unsolved Mysteries today and telling my Mom the same thing. That damn music still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

Yup! Robert Stack made everything more terrifying! Especially aliens! Would be the scariest thing ever if he happened to run into Chris Hansen on To Catch A Predator!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!
i'm sorry but i Can't help thinking of the "Beavis & Butthead Do America" movie...when Robert Stack (Agent Flemming) gives Butthead---"the full/body cavity search"...hahahaha...
