I'm definitely looking forward to checking it out. I do think we do a pretty good job of making ourselves look silly without anyone else's help though Rot LOL!
Seems to me that every time there is a documentary or reality-tv-special on home haunters, the makers are forever trying to play up the 'weird and obsessed' side of things. Making haunters look like crazy oddballs who care about nothing but their haunts (although that is partially true). I understand that that is what makes it funny and engaging to most viewers, but it gets old really fast.
This looks like a breath of fresh air.
I'm just hoping it gets some sort of DVD release over here in New Zealand.
So was that you and your brother with the little zombie babies on the teeter-totter? LOL! This is awesome, and looks highly entertaining. The bush noise comment, the wife frantically trying to put on makeup on for the haunt. I think it's cool.
Those guys do look a little crazed - and those accents. They are yaaawd haunters. I guess they couldn't find any girl haunters. Anyway, it airs on my birthday, which will be pretty cool. Every year I swear I'm going to get an earlier start on my costume and make-up. But it never happens.
I got really excited for this, until I saw the rest of the trailer. That is some great trick editing to make these haunters and by extension ALL haunters look like obsessive, loser weirdos. I'll probably be skipping this.
I'll definitely be checking this out, but I gotta agree...it appears at least from the trailer that they might be making us look a little...I dunno...lame. But sometimes trailer editing misrepresents the real message.
Looking forward to seeing this one. I know it was released in theaters (limited) last week....but they played in on a Friday. I cannot leave the yard on weekends....so don't tell me how cool it is!

Excited to see this, but I have to admit my first thoughts were "Hey! They're trying to make us look silly!"
But then I got over it.

Damn. I don't have the Chiller channel,so disappointed. I'll have to see if I can watch it on the computer somehow.
And yeah,it did kinda seem like they were making fun of us.....

Right on! My dream neighborhood would be filled with people this committed to Halloween.
