These ladies were made for purple lighting...totally cool..err ghoul I guess you would say. Makes me wonder what you are planning for next year as you play in your basement ;)
Ah what a pleasure it must be to have a real basement.. Because of the limestone most Nashville houses have crawlspaces. Mine is big enough to walk in and store a few things but water runs thru the space as well.. Lovely pics BTW!
These things are so awesome!!! I would have a really hard time putting them away. I think you should do a Xmas nativity scene with them and use the stump as manger LOL!
Adding my support for the purple- I love the classic green and red lighting but you don't see purple every day- I think it really brought out the texture of their "skin!"
Hey Rott, long time fan of yours here! I couldn't resist commenting on this one. Your witches are fantastic. Where did you get the purple light you used on them? I'd love to light up a prop in that color. Thank you!
Love the lighting experiment! The shadows add the right amount of creep... I think #3 is my favorite. I like the highlight of her face and the purple in the background.

These are pretty amazing. Old school. Like a horror comic.
I really like these witches,so cool. And I agree, the purple lighting is great.
Great to see the ladies a little closer, great detail, great colors....I need to look for some purple lights next year.
Gorgeous! I like the purple, but love the green. The first photo is my fave. They have great movement. I like the detail of the spine.
Amazing photos and props.
I think the purple is my favourite too.

That first pic my favorite also. The shadow play on the wall behind the one on the right really adds to the scene.

Thank you!
I was using an LED flashlight with multiple color settings.
BUT, they sell purple bulbs at home depot and lowes...I used two for last year's Haunt.
Florescent too. They throw a good amount of light. And it feels natural.

I love how the different colors of light can change the mood. I find myself spending many hours playing with different color lights in my basement...
The purple is so cool....
Just digging the detail that comes out in that purple shot, amazing. Green as well.
