When it's over, I want to say: all my life
I was a bride married to amazement.
I was a bridegroom, taking the world into my arms.
When it's over, I don't want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I don't want to find myself sighing and frightened
or full of argument.
I don't want to end up simply having visited this world.

Great poem.
And no,I don't belive the world is going to end on Friday. Especially from people who would rip the hearts out of men and then cut their heads off until a solar eclipse would happen.
Yeah. Nuthin's going to happen.
I just love the poem and the image to go with it.
Hmm, one of my high school English teachers was named Mary Oliver. Wonder if this is hers? Probably not. It's too thoughtful - LOL!
I love the image of the two skeletons in the bottle--very inspirational. It shows how Halloween props can be arranged to tell a moving story.
Will be looking forward to Friday's Begging for Candy, as usual.
Beautiful poem and image. Happy whatever you celebrate everyone.
Ditto the above and don't forget to toast your significant others.....just in case. Also looking forward to Friday's BC.
