There was something fungoid in the oily brown skin, something in the
clumsy deliberation of the tedious movements unspeakably nasty. Even
at this first encounter, this first glimpse, I was overcome with
disgust and dread.
Suddenly the monster vanished. It had toppled over the brim of the
cylinder and fallen into the pit, with a thud like the fall of a great
mass of leather. I heard it give a peculiar thick cry, and forthwith
another of these creatures appeared darkly in the deep shadow of the
aperture.
I turned and, running madly, made for the first group of trees,
perhaps a hundred yards away; but I ran slantingly and stumbling, for
I could not avert my face from these things.

Finally finished work on the Martian prop, so we took him out for a final photo shoot.
Cool looking little guy. And you always have these great places to do your photo shoots.
I am going to go out and sell some drugs or maybe even my body so maybe I can get you to make me my own personal (indoor) scarecrow.
Your talent with imagination and the paper mache is over the top.
Thanks, man.
: )
Such a great prop! It would be cool to see the classic monsters of sci-fi done in the Rot style. Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein, The Mummy, the list could go on and on.......Not that I'm telling an artist to what to do. Thanks for another amazing, inspiring work.
Wow. Outrageous! I want one!
really like this guy--love the set-up in the woods and the photography as well--goes so perfectly with the story! (H.G. Wells would be proud.)
Yeah that's nuts, I was thinking about thus the other day. Very, very cool! One of my favorites.
Thanks, guys!
hmmmmmm....
that's a Great thought Willow Cove!!!... :)
i can Easily imagine the most Wonderful mummy too...
very Classic, yet spiced with the rot, for a new birth...
I don't know why Hollywood isn't knocking on your door.
My 4 yr old daughter saw this and hinks it's real. I'm letting her keep that for a while. One of the best parts of childhood is truly believing these things for a while.
happy to be a part of that : )
Creepy prop! He very much reminds me of the War of the Worlds aliens, but of course with a Rot twist. Very, very cool. I'll have to share this with my brother as that was his favorite movie when he was a kid :)
Amazing!!! You're work continues to blow me away, great job Rot!
Thanks!
welcome back : )
You never fail to inspire.
