Can't believe I never saw it read this growing up! RL Stine rules. I didn't even know there was Halloween Night 1 let alone 2. "Fun House" was so good!
R.L. Stine was and continues to be my god. I've started recollecting Goosebumps books and merchandise.
If you haven't seen it yet, check out the fantastic made-for-TV movie of 'The Haunted Mask'. It's packed with Halloween imagery and it's surprisingly dark and creepy for a children's film:

I remember most of the Goosebumps being lovably hokey - except for "The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight." That one genuinely frightened me, and always seemed particularly well-written.
