I would LOVE to serve hot stuff in addition to candy treats. Unfortunately it would probably never get eaten due to the crazy fears of parents that since I'm serving a prepared food I might be poisoning their kids. Or a report to the town which will send the cops over to shut you down quoting some obscure law about serving prepared foods to large groups (its happened).
One of these days, I want to have a hot cider stand in my driveway for Halloween :) I think the Halloween goers would appreciate that :) I know I would! Great comic as alwayws.
Send these guys over to my house. I hand out over 700 bags of hot popcorn, 500 cupcakes and about 300 Long Island Iced Teas every year on Halloween. Last year we also served a few hundred caramel apples but that was too difficult to repeat this year. Next year we'll probably add popcorn balls or rice crispy treats. I might be a bit nuts about Halloween. :-)

Ha! So true. How many haunters forget to eat something because they're scrambling to set up.
Just me.

A neighbor hood about 3 0r 4 blocks from me has a house that serves hotdogs, with tons of toppings, and coffee/hot chocolate.
