Hopefully my Blu-ray ships today so I can watch it this weekend!
I'm hoping to get ours today in the mail...amazon shipped it already. So that's cool.
Well crap. I just checked my Amazon order status, and mine hasn't shipped yet. >:(
Since there are no extra features on the dvd/bluray, I'll call you on the phone and do a commentary track as you watch it.
we got ours yesterday!!!!
i didn't realize the cardboard slipcase (for the bluray) was going to be sooo Beautiful, the red looks like a foil, which makes it look so Velvety & Mysterious.. Smashing!!
i gotta take a pic & post it.
oh & we actually cancelled the order with Barnes/Noble & ordered it from Rakuten.com instead, it was cheaper too..thought i would mention that just in case, anyone was still shopping around. :)
hey, i just snapped a Quickie & posted it. : D
Cool!
going there now.
Hahahaha....Can't wait to hear your commentary, sweets.
I am going ot have to see this. It looks great. Gotta wait for the money to come available first. Your artwork is like the first batch of pumpkins I see in the fall, always puts a smile on my face.
Thanks for the tip girl6 - will order mine tonight. So cool!!
I don't do this very often, but here it goes: WOOT WOOT!
Right now, Amazon seems to have the best price - $11.98 for the DVD. Once reviewer said some great things about the props: "There’s not really any gore in MR. JONES, but the special effects are incredible nonetheless. I am speaking in particular to the ‘artwork’ that Mr. Jones creates. These vivid yet simple pieces are powerful in their presence onscreen, and just looking at one by itself for a moment is enough to invoke chills. I would love to own one of these props personally, as it would make a heck of a conversation piece!" Damn right.
hey, that's cool : )
super happy that even reviews where the folks didn't dig the film seem to really dig the look of the film and the atmosphere and the scarecrows.
The production design folks were great to work with. I would have loved to have been on location with those guys.
hey, last night we saw the bluray on sale at FYE for $17.99 & they're running a promo right now where if you sign up for their text messaging,
they'll text you a coupon for 20% off any purchase (show em the text at the register)
& you can opt out ANY anytime.
